Project Brief: Today the Internet is flooded with lots of Job Search websites that attracts the job seekers through advertising the high-paid jobs for the major market players. The USP of such sites is to show that they have large number of jobs available from the market leaders and presently these job portals are only judged by their market presence and the brand value.

All the people know those portals who advertise a lot, while it doesn’t guarantee that those portals provide the best service too. So to keep a track of all the job portals and to check whether they are providing all the services that they are promising or not, we need a reputation system. In this paper I have discussed the need, design and possible threats to the reputation system for all the job portals.

Design and Methodology: The proposed reputation system will work efficiently with the candidates who take online job searching seriously and are fed with the job scams on the portals (i.e. fake job posting). This reputation system takes into consideration all the possible threats and gives equal chances to all the portals and also consider the redesign of the portal. Moreover a simple interface would help the user to choose the most effective job portal and also induce an implicit competition system (of getting the best possible labels) amongst the websites (job portals) that would eventually lead to a race in being the best job portal and increase the overall goodness of such sites.

This portal allows the users to easily and quickly sort the portals based on location and job domain. The system also considers the open-ended reviews through NLP and thus supports the ratings by including them. This reputation system will develop a pressure over the job portals to perform well and thus serve their target audience with best possible service.

The graphical user Interface for the reputation system was developed and is shown below

Following screen will be used to collect user feedback about each job portal
